What are you looking to do in college? You need a place to start. Sure, we could take your scores and pair them up with certain schools, but what good would that do? Be serious now.

I eventually plan on going to med school. I want to take a biology related course as my major for undergrad along with a minor that's history based or economics based.

The colleges that I plan on applying to include the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Wash U in St. Louis, Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Princeton, Johns Hopkins, University of Southern California, and Caltech.

Predictions (just yes or no):
Mich: accepted
Mich S: accepted
WUStL: accepted
Harvard: rejected
Stanford: rejected
Yale: rejected
Princeton: rejected
Johns Hopkins: accepted
USC: rejected
Caltech: rejected

Hey are you Tamil? So am I. Cool. I think you should be able to get into a good school. I heard that University of Michigan is a pretty good school. You should be able to get into John Hopkins University. That's a pretty good school for medicine.

Also how was the National Youth Leadership forum? Was that interesting? What did you do? Thanks

Also there are accelerated medical programs at many colleges where you can bump off a few years.

I like youth leadership forum. We had the opportunity to do a lot of shadowing and visit hospitals. Honestly, however, I don't think it's worth the money. I'm actually telegu but with a lot of tamil influence(My parents were born and brought up in Madras, I came here when I was 4)

Someone please give me your two cents on the colleges that were mentioned above by Kriegz and tell me whether I stand a decent chance at HYPS and seven year medical programs.

you could probalby get into USC....but agree with the other predictions

Accepted everywhere.

If you go to private school i think u would be accepted everywhere, but if you go to public school I dont think you will get into Harvard, Yale, or Princeton, and maybe not Stanford or Cal Tech

I'm pretty sure he goes to public school. lol

Mich: accepted/merit
Mich S: accepted/merit
WUStL: accepted/full ride?
Harvard: rejected...
Stanford: rejected...
Yale: rejected...
Princeton: Waitlisted
Johns Hopkins: accepted
USC: Accepted
Caltech: rejected

USC? Yes!!! South Carolina is awesome!!! Actually I wouldn't go there, too big... But they do have a very good med school. :P

I think going to Boys State will help you a lot. That is a very prestigious program.

lol I'm sorry, but you really can't tell from just stats and some of your clubs. The people above have already posted a pretty good description of where you can and can't get in. However, alot of it relies on how well you write your application. Recs, essays, how much passion you show...this is a big part you're not considering. I think you have a great chance at U of M and MSU since those are in-state (I'm from MI too! hehe) But I really think you should just start your applications and not rely on your thread.

i thought boys state was some kind of program where u learn "citizen" duties and politics. i dont think its prestigous if anyone can get in...

It's people like this who make me want to kill myself because I scored lower than them in the verbal portion.

(If you don't get this look at "DEFINATELY", and the no "re" infront of "take")

monkey, you are totally wrong. Boys State is prestigious. You must have it confused with something else .Look it up. Only 100 people from each state go I think, so not anyone can get in. and it is very selective. Bill Clinton went to Boys Nation.

Yeah, Bill Clinton... Look how HE turned out. :P
