Where can I get into?

Hey guys,

Need some advice if I can get into any of the UC’s. A little background, I moved away from Cali before freshmen year. Went to a different school in 9th, 10th and finally 11th back in california. 9th and 10th were out of state. I am little confused on figuring out what my UC gpa will be exactly since I have no course list to go by for the first 2 years. I will just give you the GPA on my transcripts.

Freshmen 1st Semester: 3.29
Freshmen 2nd Semester: 3.49
Sophomore 1st Semester: 3.83
Sophomore 2nd Semester: 3.86
Junior 1st Semester: 3.0 Weighted 3.4

Freshmen year as you can see was tough for me, big adjustments. Also this junior year I had trouble in CHEM and Math. Definitely want to have higher GPA next semester.

President of PCT, Junior Rep for School Site Council, Student Rep Technology Committee, Webmaster School Site Council website, Webmaster Guidance Department Website, Member Operation Smile, Member Key Club, Work 15-20 hours a week 10th and 11th. Mock Trial 9th grade

I am hoping on my personal essay to use all the moving high schools as a burden but use it as something positive. Because it caused me to learn to adjust to different academic standards and different cultures. I am hoping to make the moving a big focus in the essay because it had a positive impact on what may seem a bad situation.

Well, go to the University of California website and find out the A-G courses and then assign your GPA to make your UC GPA.

Yea I know that, but I it shows course lists for only my California high school and not my Florida and Mississippi. Anyone have any ideas of what UC school might work for me?

What are your SAT I/II and/or ACT scores? These will really help guide you as to what tier UC's to aim for.

Taking SAT's for first time in March. I had a 3.8 both 10th grade semesters for A-G courses. First semester 11th was only 2.75!!! and 3.25 Weighted. Definitely will be a lot higher 2nd semester. Also going to try and retake chemistry during summer school.
