Where can I go on my current path and what can I improve?

Hello all,
I am a 15 year old Caucasian male who attends Northampton High School in Massachusetts. Currently, I am finishing the first semester of my sophomore year and am ranked in at least the top 10% of my class (I have consistently made first honors with a 3.8 non-weighted GPA, the minimum requirement being a 3.4). So far, my credentials include:

(although I will get slaughtered :( )

-"A" Fencer and co-squad captain on varsity fencing team
-Attended fencing camp at UPenn for one week

Extracurricular:

- 3-4 years of Trumpet
- 10-15 hours tutoring Spanish students
- One semester in "Best Buddies" program for mentally disabled students
-Created and helped manage a profitable Ebay business for six months
-Attended Great Books Summer Program at Amherst College (somewhat selective) for two summers.

Thats what I have so far. My future plans include taking more advanced Spanish courses at Smith College and enrolling in their German language program as well. In addition, I plan to volunteer at a nearby daycare where I can work with Hispanic children and improve my Spanish. I also hope to become captain of the fencing team and a senior editor on the school paper.

What are your thoughts on both my current accomplishments and my plans for the future? Is there any area I should focus or improve on?
What colleges could I realistically get into?

Thank you for taking time to read this and comment.

You’re doing great!
Only thing I can recommend is that you take some more advanced math classes. Though it may not be important to your intended major (since it looks like you’ll be focusing your talents away from the math world), having a diverse courseload is important as is the difficulty of that courseload. However, do not put yourself into a spot where you cannot handle the class because of it’s difficulty. For example, don’t rush yourself into a higher class unless you know that you have mastered everything prior to that.

Any idea on what you might major in 3 years from now?

Great to see another dedicated fencer :)

You are extremely skewed towards the humanities. Add some variety with some AP Sciences and Mathematics.

Also, what do you want to be when you grow up? You should funnel some extracurriculars towards that venue of academia.

Thanks for the replies! What could I do to make myself be ideal for high-level (but probably non ivy league) colleges such as Wesleyan or Brandeis? Also, how does weighted GPA work?
