I currently live in texas and go to a pretty competitive school, my graduating class is over 1300.

I really want to go A&M but am also looking at texas tech and texas state.

ACT composite score = 24
SAT math and reading = 1190
^ both score are my first time taking them, will be taking again
2nd quarter of my graduating class
3.5 my sophomore year, 4.0 my junior year
took ap and honors

I checked the scattergram for TAMU in Naviance at my daughter’s Texas high school. There were data points from 158 applications going back three or four years. It’s going to be slightly different for each school, but the average GPA and test scores for students accepted at A&M from my daughter’s school were 4.06/30 ACT and 4.01/1385 SAT(1600). These GPA’s are high, but everyone at her school takes weighted classes. Your current scores and GPA would put you in the middle of a field of red diamonds and x’s, indicating students who were waitlisted or rejected.
