I was admitted to CALS AEM last week, and have been looking for more information about Cornell. I've watched all the theu.com videos and read most of the stuff on the Cornell website. What are some resources where an admitted student can learn more about life at Cornell?

when d was accepted 4 years ago this was how things worked--

accepted ILR through rolling decisions in Feb. Received Congratulations/acceptance letter only. Not too much info was forthcoming.

April 1st (or thereabouts). Big Acceptance envelope- "The Case for Cornell" Gave alot of info including schedule for Cornell Days-separate brochures for living on campus/housing-- dining options-- and response cards, an acceptance coupon to send back

Once she accepted Cornell- she got another large envelope "Cornell Bound"
I believe that had info on housing and she may have had to fill out a questionaire which is used to match you with a roommate.

Cornell's procedures may have changed- but all the good stuff gets sent out with the RD acceptances around 4/1. There is probably an accepted students website too- but again that is probably not operational until 4/1.(but I am just guessing on that)

Best of luck to all. My d absolutely adores her time at Cornell!!

visit!!! you'll fall in love with the campus

Come to Cornell Days in April, u'll get that info late March.
