Where Can I Possibly Get In?

<p>Hey, I was wondering what schools I should look at to transfer to in the Fall of 2007. I'm looking for mostly schools in the northeast/midatlantic area.</p>

<p>Currently a sophomore at UMD College Park at the Robert H. Smith School of Business
Cumulative GPA: ~3.51 (33 UMD credits, 7 CC credits, 3 AP = 43 Total)
Last Semester GPA: 3.58 (17 Credits, All A's except for 2 B+'s)
Major: Marketing & International Business
Semester Academic Honors
College Park Scholars - Business, Society & the Economy
President's Scholarship
Academic Achievement Award from the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs
Activities: Smith Start (VP of Administration), Smith Fellows Orientation Mentor, Amercian Marketing Association, Smith Women's Society.. and a few other clubs/activities
Can probably get pretty good letters of recommendation as well</p>

<p>Attended a competitive HS in New Jersey that didn't rank
GPA: 3.93
SAT: 1310 (700M, 610V)

President & Publicist of the Spanish Club

<p>even though you didn't state it, i'm assuming you want to go into business.</p>

<p>if you bring up your gpa SLIGHTLY, i think you'll definitely get into nyu-stern. you should also look into boston college.</p>

<p>Why do you want to transfer? What type of school would you like - size/atmosphere/urban-rural...?</p>

<p>Boston College and Last year USC Marshall's Transfer Average was 3.57 so your in the competitive range with that.</p>

<p>oh whoops, northeast....i guess the big name would be stern but id say you should get ur gpa up to 3.6 or just around that to be competitive. I believe the average gpa is 3.7 for transfers.</p>
