Well you can do Forensic Chemistry, Forensic Patholgy, Forensic Toxicology. Pathology you will need a MD and Toxicology you need a Ph.D.

Actually, you don't need a Ph.D. to be a forensic scientist -- maybe to rise to the top of the field, but not just to work in it.

I was talking about becoming a Forensic toxicologist, you do need a Ph.D. not just a forensic scientist.

I've heard it said directly by a chemistry professor that Forensic Science is a poor choice for an actual major. You're much better off just majoring in chemistry, biology, or biomolecular. This is because the availability of jobs doing forensic science is not too great and most people who work in forensics labs are chemists or biologists anyway. So majoring in one of those will allow you to get a job doing that if you wish but still give you a broader range of options.

I know West Virginia University has a forensics program. I do not know the quality of that program.
