I am looking towards Political Science or English, maybe an Econ minor.
I love Georgetown and Tufts, but I feel like schools of that caliber might be stretching it.
Can you guys give me some advice of schools that I should look toward or give me any advice at all. I have no idea of what schools I should be looking in , considering the great competition. Thanks for the input! I am looking for a college list, also I don't really want to stay in NY , but will consider NY schools for monetary purposes.

I think your test scores are pretty low for GT and Tufts. You should ask yourself what characteristics these schools have that appeal to you, and broaden your search to include others that offer some of the same things. I’d recommend the Colleges that Change Lives list (ctcl.org). You should be able to find a number of really good LACs that offer the academics you are looking for and are full of well-rounded students like yourself.

If you are looking for larger universities, hopefully someone else can help you. Good luck!

Thanks for the input and I do have a list of back up schools that somewhat fit the bill.
Anyone else have opinions?

Try going to ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ and entering the two schools and see what other similar schools come up. You can then sort them by SAT scores, size, etc.

It’s tough to beat the SUNYs or CUNYs for in-state costs. What can your family afford?

Thanks , the website looks good and it has given me some useful schools to consider.

@Erin’s Dad Can afford less than $10k

Is your EFC less than 10k or are you looking for merit $?

@cc123sb I am looking at that and outside awards, as well as considering the idea of incurring loans.
