Where can Kid with 3.57 get in realistic way

Including the costs for law school? ($300k private, $125k in-state ASU)

If she goes to a low cost undergraduate school like in-state ASU or UA with scholarships, then she may be able to go to law school and come out with substantially less debt than if she went to a more expensive undergraduate school.

Does she have access to Naviance? If so you can use Scattergrams how she compares to others from her high school who got admitted or not to the schools she is interested in. This can be more helpful than looking at the numbers. A student with the same GPA can have a very different class rank depending on how the high schools grade.

IMHO, the UC OOS tuition is absurd. In CA, Check out USD, LMU, Santa Clara and perhaps Chapman better value options. With her stats, merit aid is almost certain. In state, UA would probably be my choice,

There’s a program call WUE that will give significantly reduced tuition at many of the publics in the West - U of Co, Co State, Oregon State and Wash State are probably worth a look.

Another thing to keep in mind. CA publics are sticklers for the A-G requirements. If you are one semester short, you are out - no matter your other qualifications. Most other states will waive anything not required to graduate in your home state.

Just a quick clarification on WUE – the Boulder CU campus is NOT included, only Colorado Springs and Denver.
