Where can You go with In'l Relations?

I've been told by many that I should look into such an area of study, but need assistance knowing where that might lead me.

Also, do you think double majoring with anthropology and international relations is a good idea?

I personally thought of taking International Relations, because it involves travelling, communication, engagement with people and developing events in global scale (that’s how I imagine it). So it pretty much involves areas of civil servitude, diplomacy, journalism, banking, analyses. I envisaged a working place somewhere in an embassy in Brasilia or Paris, or in an Citigroup branch in Tokyo for example. The idea of international Relations is to teach you problem-solving and to understand political and cultural issues. So the market is pretty open after graduation.
International relations may be turned to various of directions. If you chose anthropology you may focus on the study of people’s cultures and contemporary relations. It’s great for people that are keen on travelling, but if you’re not one of them there are always career opportunities in a near-by college as an International Office Administrator.
I’d say that international relations (+ anthropology) opens great variety of doors.
