Hey all,
I start the Human Services associates in applied science program at my college this fall. I know that I want to help people, and while I am still learning about this field that was my ultimate decision for choosing it.
The human services field is wide with a variety of options, I know that you can work with children, elderly, families, substance abuse, mental health etc.
Due to it being so broad, I have yet to decide which route I exactly want to take. I like the idea of counseling, therapy, and working with children, elderly, mental health, disabilities.
So far, I’ve seen that most careers are in government agencies, organizations, etc…
Are there careers in human service within a school, hospital or health care?
