where could i go? please help me!! =(

i currently have a accumulated gpa of 3.4 UW (from freshman and sophomore year) not sure what my weighted would be. i took a mix of advanced and honor classes (couldnt take AP/IB as soph at my high school)

now i am a junior and i am a IB diploma candidate. i hope i can pull my gpa to a 3.6UW
havent taken my SATs yet but i am hoping to score higher than 2100

where could I apply to? i seriously have no idea. I am interested in Political Science, Business, International Relations and I am really interested in going to law school

I am definitely budgeting. So i am mainly looking at public schools. If i were to go to a private school then i would definitely need financially aid (i still would need financial aid even at a public school) but i dont think i would even be able to considered =( my parents use to make alot but now they are both retired (they are 60+ they can no longer work anymore)
I just came back from a visit to University of Delaware. I liked it a lot and i think i can get in..
i really want to go to
Public: UVA, UNC, Lehigh, New College of Florida, University of Michigan
Private: Boston College, George Washington, Georgetown, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon, Emory

Im also really interested in McGill. there entrance requirements (B+ in the department i want to go into) are not as high as say Harvard but it is an excellent school with a great reputation.

anyways do i have a good chance at these schools? what about financial aid? ahh im so stressed about school!

if this matter im an adopted chinese (with chinese parents) haha
idk if that gives me edge… prob not. haha

If you are really expecting a 2100+ on your SAT’s then you should be fine for all of them. Not sure what your weighted GPA is, but if you can get a 3.6 and a 2100 + then i think you’d be fine

someone else chime in if I am giving mel bad advice lol

id have to work my ass off to get a 2100 but i am hoping for 2100 or higher!

Also if you are interested in Florida schools, I hear FSU is really good for poli sci and future law students, since it is in the Capitol city & you there are places for internship everywhere

Not sure if you even care about florida schools, just saw you were considering new college

my mom wants me to go to a school that has a good law school. she thinks that going there as an undergrad and then applying to their law school will help but im not sure. my parents say that schools look after their own kids first before they think about others… which im not sure if its true or not…
and also i plan to practice law in nyc/ northeastern region of the world so i would like to stay in my region… idk… =( so confusedd.

i think your a fit for say Georgetown or GW or U of M

UVA and Northwestern, i am sorry but if you don’t get straight A’s and a plus 2000 SAT then hell NO!!!

aww i was so hoping to be considered for UVA! haha
