Where could I go with these scores ?

Hello everyone !! I'm an international student from South-East Asia and I'm not so sure whether my following scores would be eligible to apply for some good Universities in Economics course.

SAT reasoning scores of 1700/2400 (400 in reading , 760 in Math , 540 in writing)

SAT subject test scores of 770/800 in Math level 1 and 800/800 in Math level 2

Any advice or opinion would be very appreciated !!

Your math scores are great. Have you done any analysis to figure out why your CR score is so low and if it is possible to fix it?

Also schools aren’t interested in seeing both the Math1 and the Math2, they will just look at the math2. So in this case, you are missing another SAT for schools that want to see 2. They want to see one in English Lit or History or such. Some will take a science.

Maybe you want to talk to people in the Internationals forum
[International Students - College Confidential](International Students - College Confidential Forums)

For help with identifying colleges, post on the College Search page, that is a busier forum. This is just for SAT/ACT questions.

This should be in the college search forum. This thread helps get higher scores. U should try the ACT. The reading section is a lot easier. At least for me.

Have you taken TOEFL? Many schools have a firm minimum on the TOEFL for applicants whose first language is not English. It isn’t uncommon for foreign speakers to have lower CR/W scores because of the language difficulty. But, yours are quite lopsided. Unless you have reason to believe it does not represent your true capability in reading comprehension, your 400 indicates you might struggle with the classwork at US schools.

Hello Everyone !! Thanks a lot for all your comments.

To be honest, I’m from non English-speaking country so that’s why my CR is low. But I took an IELTS and got 7.5 overall.

I’ll then post on College Search and International page as you’ve suggested.

Many Thanks again !!
