<p>My daughter chose stanford and declined to stay on the waitlist since she has decided on science/eng and feels Stanford is the better choice for that.</p>

<p>I see in the Crimson of May 13 that Harvard will accept > 200 students from the waitlist. If they waitlisted about a 1000, and 2/3 stayed on, which they said was typical, about 1/3 of the students on the waitlist should get in.</p>
