THANK YOU sopranosweetie. My son wants to apply to Loyola, but somehow it has sort of fallen low on the list of schools we've paid attention to. We haven't gotten there for a tour or an interview. I think it will be the only one he just sort of applies to and hopes for the best. They do recruit from his high school and they will be there in Nov so I think he plans to talk with them then. It is so hard to get to all these schools, and then some we managed to get to he isn't going to apply to. Thanks again.

Should the unthinkable happen, RD schools are Wash U, Amherst, Yale and Princeton.

Princeton ED...yay Tigers!

i'm sure that most ED schools don't mind if you apply EA somewhere else, but i'm pretty sure they EA schools will mind that you're applying ED somewhere else-- they want you to at least have the option of attending their school.

xlittleonex- if they are not single choice, they cannot do anything about it.

Stanford SCEA (not a good choice probably, since i have found out that it's actually harder to get in SCEA than RD, and they rarely defer anyone.

University of Rochester ED (I just met with the admissions counselor for NJ and he said I have a very very good shot... just hope so!)

Has anyone been notified of when they will receive their acceptance/deferals/rejects EA/ED information?

Right now, the conjecture is that Harvard EA results will be emailed Dec. 10. They say mid-December, and they have traditionally emailed on a Friday, and I don't think any of us could bear to wait until Dec. 17...

I read GW's posts from last year, and they didn't email the people! So I will have to wait by the mailbox until December 20th. OMG.
