Where did you get in (ED/EA) (H.S. class of 2008)?

whitman college ED! :D

How many early decisions can you have? For example if you applied for UPenn ED and didn’t get accepted can you have another ED? And what happens if you did get accepted but decide you don’t want to go anymore?

You can only have one ED.

If you do not get accepted to one ED, I believe you can apply ED only to places that have an EDII plan.

If you get accepted, but decide you don’t want to go, tough luck. That’s why you should take early decision very very seriously.

So far–

Accepted:
All CUNYS i applied to (safeties) - Hunter, Baruch, City College etc..
SUNY stony brook

Waiting for:
NYU, Fordham, Rutgers, Stevens (interview date next week)

But wait, if you didn’t get accepted isn’t applying ED for another college too late then?

Hamilton College ED II!

S1mplyr4nd0m: my understanding is that you hear back on ED 1 apps Dec 15 and then the ED 2 apps are due around Jan 1. For example Reed has three choices with ED1 apps due Nov 15 with decisions mailed Dec 15; ED 2 apps due Jan 2 with decisions mailed Feb 1; and regular with apps due Jan 15 and decisions mailed April 1.

UofMiami - what were your stats Sugababi1790?

Got my first acceptance a week ago-- Fordham.
Still waiting on GWU, American, Hamilton, Northwestern, Binghamton and Geneseo. (I also applied to Fairfield but it’s my last beyond last choice. Like, If I got in no where but Fairfield, I would take a gap year.)
