is there anyone else who hasnt heard from boston college yet??? i’m from minnesota, so i don’t know if that is the reason or what…

I got into Northeastern EA plus $15,000 per year.

I think that’s false. BC is certainly a safety school for some kids. While it is definitely a selective school, I think it is still at that point of selectivity where there are some applicants that it will not deny.

In fact, I know a kid in my class for whom it was the least selective school to which is he applied(Harvard, Yale, GTown, ND, UMich out of state, and BC). He’s already been accepted to all of the latter 4.

A girl I graduated with’s father is a big part of one of the local BC Alumni groups and she got flat out rejected. She was qualified enough. I dont think a school like BC is a safety.

Well, this kid is valedictorian, 4.0 UW, 1500+ SAT, 35 ACT, Class President, Lacrosse captain, to name a few things… plus we’re a Jesuit high school.
