Where do I even transfer to?

I'm an out of state student from New Jersey who is currently a freshman at the College of William and Mary. My first semester I got a 3.32 GPA.
First Semester:
Statistics
Micro
Comparative Politics
Seminar on Political Integration in the EU

Second Semester:
Macro
International Business
Modern Middle East
Film Making

I will have 25 credits by the end of this year.

I am Iranian-American and Muslim.

For various reasons such as not liking a small town campus, i.e. Williamsburg, and the fact that WM does not offer a major in International Business has led me to apply as a transfer applicant.

Currently the schools I am applying to are UNC-Chapel Hill, UVA, Georgetown, NYU, Michigan, Maryland, and Rutgers.

My SAT was 1400 and 2040. I had a 3.93 GPA in High School and took 5 AP courses.

I was an Eagle Scout, multi-lingual (Farsi, Spanish, English), President/Founder of Muslim Student Association, President Spanish Club, 3 Year Varsity Soccer and earned two soccer recognitions, Captain of Club Soccer Team, studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain and took three college courses there, and a few other stuff...

I don't even know if I have a chance at these schools. If you could give me an idea I would really appreciate it. Georgetown is my top.

You are undoubtedly an interesting candidate, with some strong stats. Not the very strongest, but strong. I think you will get a serious look at many schools. I don’t think anyone can predict your “chances.”

Thus, my only suggestion would be to be sure that you have some safe schools on your list - high transfer acceptance rates. You may already have that, as I don’t know the rates of some of your schools. Is Rutgers fairly safe?
Some of the others might be, depending on intended major. Just be sure you have more than one school with 40% transfer acceptance rates or better, preferably at least one with >60% acceptance. Schools that you like.

good luck.
