Where do I go? YOU decide.

I've posted quite a few times on here to get my chances evaluated and I need help once more, since this will be pretty much my final decision.

I got into USC Marshall for fall '07 and deferred it until spring '08 so I could keep my options open. Marshall is a great school, but I believe I can do better due to my stats in college. I really wanna give a shot at UPenn Wharton, but if y'all could suggest some other schools, that would really be helpful...

Location: Texas
Current school: University of Houston
GPA: 4.0/4.0 with 59 hours (I just finished my first semester of my sophomore year.)
Have finished all my business pre-reqs and i've also taken cal 1-3 because I thought I would double major in computer science and business at first, but don't like comp. sci.

I hope my high school stats won't matter that much anymore, but here they are:
SAT: 1560/2400 (1070/1600) No SAT II
Rank: 213/621
GPA: 3.2/4.0

I will be going to USC in the spring, but do you think that I should apply to other top business schools for FALL '08? Yeah I would lose a semester, but I believe that if I got into UPenn Wharton or another better school, then it would be worth it.

It would be great and very helpful if I got y'alls opinion. If you believe that I should transfer after a semester at USC, let me know better schools than USC-Marshall that I have a chance at.

stay at USC, good school and good recruiters...not quite Penn, but transferring at this point IMO is not worth it. Plus penn acceptance rate is extremely low and your sat won't help. I would suggest other schools but I really cant think of any bschools (besides the top top bschools /ivies) that will give you that much more oppurtinity than you have now, so that its worth transferring.

If you do decide to apply, good luck!

With those SATs, I don't think Wharton is possible. I also think they require SAT IIs. But yeah, nice GPA.

Same here. I can't think of too many business schools myself.

I would give a shot at Cornell, but they require two semesters of bio 1 and 2 to even transfer, so no.

My other choice would be applying to NYU, but I don't think transfering from USC to NYU is worth it because USC has a higher national rank and both of their business schools are great.

Do y'all think I have a shot at Berkeley?

Stop looking at rankings. Stern is better than Marshall, that's for sure. No, you wont get into Berkeley. No, you wont get into Wharton. Marshall is a fine bschool.
