Where do I go??

I am currently in search for the college that will be perfect for me. I need help choosing where to apply, where to go, and which colleges will accept me!
About me:
I am a Senior next year.

I plan to major in business, and minor in something along the lines of film/production/entertainment. Business is my passion and I love to produce, edit, and direct videos.

I am a DECA Executive State Officer in the state of Colorado. I won state in my competitive event, was a finalist in International competition, and I am my schools DECA president. I am also an active member of FBLA and a state competitor in that as well.
My letters of recommendation will be from my principle and my state DECA advisor.

I got a 33 on my ACT
I have approximately a 3.7 gpa (not my highlight)
I have taken several honor/AP classes
I am a member of National Technical Honor Society
I am a member of The National Society of Scholars
I lettered in business this year
I am a 2 year State competitor in both DECA and FBLA
I am a 2 year State finalist for DECA (won state this year)

The two schools I have thought most about are at USC, and NYU. Both have very high ranked business schools (Marshall and Stern). Both also offer great film/production schools, and are located in the entertainment based cities.
Campus life is very important to me!

Other schools I am considering applying to:
Cornell
Penn
San Diego
Pepperdine
Berkeley?

What business schools should I apply to?!?! Which can I get in to? How can I help my chances of getting into these top schools?
Thank you!!!

Give any thought to Belmont or Vanderbilt in Nashville or Rhodes in Memphis?

If campus life is important to you then take NYU off the board, they have no campus.

Also, please list rank if applicable and your SAT and AP scores.

With what I see so far and if you’re not married to the idea of a school in an entertainment hub-city; For Business - Northeastern, Michigan, Virginia, maybe Emory(need to see complete stats) and for film - Florida State maybe Wesleyan(again, need to see complete stats).

I would consider Duke (no business major, but Econ will get you the same places), UVA, Vanderbilt, and Northwestern in your search. Good luck!

For business and film, I think you are right on the money with USC.

I’d second that.

Many of the schools you and others have listed will cost $50K/year. Can your family afford that?

Lynx: I would prefer West Coast to an Eastern school but I’ll have to research vandy!
Downeastern: Does FSU have a compatible B-school with their film school?
Muck/Dodgers: I’m definitely leaning that way!! Just wanna broaden my search as well.
Erin’sDad: Cost is not an issue as long as I get in

Are you particularly looking for campus life or just vibrant students, always stuff to do, etc.?

Berkeley has an incredible business school (Haas), and you couldn’t ask for a better location. I don’t know anything about the film program there though. UCLA would also be one to consider as it as both good economics and film programs.

USC is good, but if you can get into Penn, which you might, then THAT is the way to go!
I cannot stress enough how much better Penn’s business school is than ANYBODY ELSE’S!!

NYU sounds way cooler than it actually is.
UC San Diego is not worth the money, whether cost is an issue or not.
Berkeley and UCLA are good choices too.

Perhaps consider Michigan or UT-Austin? Albeit they’re not in “sexy” locations, but campus life and their B-school are among tops.

Unless that 3.7 GPA puts the OP in the top 5% of his class some of the schools listed are extremely high reaches - UT, Penn. Additionally, that GPA will make it extremely hard to compete for the top UCs.
