Where do I go????

@gkk1100 Wow- today? Been waiting to see when they will be posting RD

Wow, Congratulations!!!
Is it affordable?

@lavendermary It is on a rolling basis for transfer students if you sent your application after Feb 1

@MYOS1634 of course not! The school cost $75K a year and I got $4K in scholarship, but I am still waiting to get my fafsa package.

There is no “FAFSA package.” The FAFSA is a free application for student aid. If your income is below a certain amount you’ll be eligible for a ~$6k/year Pell Grant. You can also borrow the $5500/year federal student loan.

Does the school offer need based aid to transfer students? Have you received their financial aid package? When you filed the FAFSA you should have gotten an EFC (it’s listed on the confirmation page). Do you know what it is? If it’s over $6,000 you won’t be eligible for Pell. How much can your parents pay?

Accepted to JMU!

Congratulations!
What’s your net cost?

i do not know, i did not hear back my offerings from JMU yet.

Accepted to UDel!!!

Accepted to SUNY Binghamton!!!

lots of great choices!

I have narrowed down my choices to Binghamton, UDelaware, UPitt

Great options, congrats!!
How do costs compare?
Same general plan at all of them, major-wise?

What’s the net cost of Binghamton?

Can you list net cost* for each university?
.*
(Tuition fees room board) - (grants scholarships)=$…

Bing ~ $21 k
UDel ~ $45 k
UPitt ~ $24 k
(Total Cost of Attendance)

Great choices. Pitt for 24k is outstanding.

Pitt or Bing - but here Pitt is the best value. Is the difference affordable?

After seeing costs and acceptances, I stand by my opinion that you should commit to PITT

Isn’t your parents’ total gross $57k? How will you pay $21-45k/year?
