I am filling out Activities and Awards section on my UC application.
There is a dropbox for MESA in the “Educational Preparation Programs” but I also had a leadership position so don’t know if I’m supposed to list it in the “Extracurricular Activities”.
I feel like the “Educational Preparation Programs” wants me to explain the program more than what I did as an officer.
Since it did say “To provide us with more information about your involvement, you may discuss the scope of your participation in your personal statement.”
I don’t plan on writing it in my personal statement so should I just take MESA this section?
The “Extracurricular Activities” section wants me to describe my role as an officer and my responsibilities. I was a Public Relation officer in 10th grade and Secretary in 11th and 12th grade. I tried to fit it in the “Educational Preparation Programs” with my leadership position and what the club is about but there just isn’t enough space for me to write what I did as an officer. I’m conflicted on which category to put it in.
