There isn’t a specific place to put publications on the common app, and I was wondering if any students or parents who’ve already gone through the process where did you put your publications? Do you submit it onto the school’s portal after you submit the common app or do you put it in the honors/add’l info section of the common app? What I’m afraid is that it will be easily dismissed if I put it in the add’l info section and I can’t seem to explain the ‘honor’ if I put my publication there since they don’t give you room for a link. TIA
You list it under EC. Unless the school specifies that they want it, don’t include the link.
If the school accepts supplemental materials, you can include there, but follow their instructions. If they ask for an abstract, they don’t want the entire publication.
