I'm coming up on major deadlines before the end of my senior year of highschool and I can't figure out where to start because of these factors listed below.

I do not have my SAT scores in because I missed the test date and have to wait til January 28th

Scholarships/financial aid is a must for me but to apply for these you must be enrolled in a college

I work at an average of 30 hour work weeks plus full time school. So its hard to get anything done.

Im from California and was planning on attending a California college such as Berkeley but I live in Texas and what I'm facing at the moment looks like I'm going to a Texas college with my majors either graphic design or computer information technology. Anyways any help would be much appreciated.

You don’t need to be enrolled in a college to apply for financial aid. The FAFSA form will be available in January and you should fill it out as well as Pofile if any college you apply to require it. This info is on just about every college web site.

Berkeley is not a good option if you need aid nor is any CA state school unless you have a parent still living in CA. OOS tuition is $50K plus per year at UCs and $30K at CSUs with little aid if you don’t currently live in state.

Thanks for the info about the FAFSA. I believe I got a physical packet for it. But lost it. What kind of info does it ask on it because I dont live with my parents but I do live with a friend and his mom. Does their income have to be mentioned even though they would have nothing to do with my college?
