This is the AP's I've taken or will be taking:

Junior Year:
English Lang-4
Bio-5
US-4

Senior Year:
English Lit
Calculus AB
Euro
Chem

So my question is I'm trying to earn National AP scholar after my senior year by taking 1 to 3 self-studied AP's, so where on the application do I tell the schools i'm applying for that i've self-studied for three AP's when I'll be taking the AP exams after college applications?

And which AP should i self-study for if i'm doing a bio major w/ a premed track?
I was thinking Physics but is that to much for a full course load, how's economics if i've taken an elective economics course (which is totally a joke), And should I do psch if I'm study premed. The thing is I get out 1:30 next year and have plenty of time to self-study and I want to get done with college early so I can go into med school? Help, thanx

i don't mean to be insulting, but colleges don't give a **** about which AP's you plan on self-studying this coming year. if they did, everybody would write that they're self-studying 6 exams and then not do ****, cuz by the time AP's come around, everybody will have been accepted/rejected.

secondly, AP awards mean NOTHING if u don't get them after soph/junior year, just a "pride" booster, although i'd hardly consider them even that. and finally, even if you did self-study an exam soph/junior year, i'm still pretty sure colleges don't give a **** if u self-studied 4 exams or took 4 AP courses. the only way they'll care is if you did well in the AP class and then bombed the exam, then they'll suspect grade inflation.

If you don't get your AP award before senior year begins, it's probably too late for college apps.

You can put the courses that you are planning on self-stdying in the "additional information" section. If you already have a track record of self-studying APs before, they won't doubt it too much. But if you don't, it's still okay - just put it there. Granted, there's not going to be a big difference either way (senior year is generally very late to begin).

I think letting colleges know you are planning on self-studying APs is valid. I would think that doing this would show initiative into your own education, and it takes the idea of taking the most rigorous classes offered to the next level. I am also planning on self-studying APs and I plan to just put like AP ____ (self-study) where it has you list your senior classes.
