Are you looking for a graduate school and of so, MS or PhD or JD?
Or are you trying to transfer?
@melvin123 Just to set the record straight, Notre Dame is not a Jesuit school.
Hi @happy1. I never said what Society runs Notre Dame, and I don’t know it off-hand, but I didn’t think it was Jesuit. Which Society runs Notre Dame was never relevant to our family because we knew, based on conversations with people whose children go there, that ND isn’t a good fit for our D. The people that we know who go to Notre Dame (and love it) are significantly more religious than us and appreciate all of those opportunities. For my D, unfortunately, that would be stifling. This poster wanted a school that was conservative but not very religious. IMO based on reports from kids we know who go to Georgetown, Georgetown fits that mold because it has so much religious and ethnic diversity.
@Melivin123 Sorry if I misunderstood – to me it looked like your comment #18 was a response to my comment directly above that (suggesting Jesuit colleges) so I just wanted to clarify.
Look at Pepperdine in CA.
University of Chicago
Washington and Lee?
University of North Carolina. The board of governors just voted to bar the law school’s legal clinic from working on civil rights cases.
