Soooooo basically I've looked in every store I've college shopped in recently, and that would be Bed Bath and Beyond, Target, Walmart, Old Navy, and a bunch of normal stores like Forever21 and could not find a single bathrobe....where have I missed?

Target and Wal*Mart didn’t have any? Really? Even Bed, Bath and Beyond always has them when I go.

Try JcPenny, or Kohl’s, or some other department store. I got mine from JcPenny, although that was about 5 years ago, but I’m certain they’ll still be carrying them. You can double check online too, or just buy one online.

I had trouble finding a bathrobe before school as well.
They have a lot of womens’ robes but not that many for men. Ultimately I was able to find some at Sears so that may be worth looking at.

Also I imagine you could find them on Amazon or someplace too if the stores don’t have any.

The stores always seem to run out of them in the couple of weeks before move in day. If worst comes to worst, just get by with only a towel for a week or two and then see what you can find.

My daughter bought a robe yesterday at Macy’s.

Any department store should have some.

if you’re a girl, aerie has nice ones.

You should be able to find them at TJMaxx or Marshall’s.

Are you looking in the right place in the store? I usually find them with pajamas, underwear, or bath towel kind of stuff. Last year I got mine at meijer, I think I might get a new one at kohls this year. I saw one there that I really liked last week.

Do you really need a bathrobe anyway?

I bought a bathrobe for college and used it exactly once. It’s so much easier to walk to the shower in a towel than in a bathrobe.

Mine is from PBTeen

@B@r!um Some students are more comfortable coming out of the shower in a bathrobe than a towel, especially on co-ed floors! Personal preference.

BBB has them hanging on hooks by the towels; I can’t believe they are already sold out…

Got my sons at Bed Bath and Beyond… you can order in the store and use an online coupon and they will ship to your house… convenient and saves money…

Cherryapple, I understand that. I just wanted to point out that towels are common in some locations and bathrobes would draw a lot of attention.

If a bathrobe draws attention, kids at your school have too much time on their hands.

^Might be a gender issue too. I’ve seen ladies use bathrobes far more often that men. In fact, I think I only saw one guy use a bathrobe in two years.

I think three of five guys in my hallway last year had them. shrug I just don’t understand why it matters so much. Not that long ago someone posted a thread asking about how people use the showers in community bathrooms and everybody laughed like as if it matters what you do, but DEAR GOD don’t get a bathrobe! It’s just silly. :P

Steal one from any 4star or better hotel.

My collection is primarily from local hotels.
