Where do the girlfriends/boyfriends stay for dances?

Thank you PUBLICENEMY ~ I will resume my pestering!!

Okay.....now my PC says that Plebe Candidates are not allowed to take dates, only upperclassmen?

Ohhh, yucko.

Plebe Candidates can only take upperclassmen? :D :D :o

ok.Ok. Just kidding. I knew what you meant. ;)
I just haven't posted in a while, but hope to have some good stories by Monday.... More later (letting the suspense build).

my plebe year some kids had dates

check the regimental calendar which indicates that the PC's may have dates.

yeah i'd be shocked if they said plebes (by that time PC's will be a distant memory) couldn't have dates. otherwise there would be a whole lot of guys there and that would just be strange. im sure they will be allowed dates otherwise thats just crazy.

I am not for sure many are aware of this, but our sons/daughters can reserve rooms at the Navy Inn on Staton Island.

The rooms are very affordable, clean and safe once at the hotel.

To utilize this option however the young people need to be saavy at utilizing public transportation.

to be honest, i don't know if the Christmas dance would be worth flying someone in. unless you've got hook ups with an airline, i'd say wait and go alll out for your state's All Academy Ball.

It's Navy Lodge https://www.nexnet.nexweb.org/pls/nexlodge/process_find_lodge_form and be aware the service member must be present to check in, non-military cannot check in alone. :D

im brand new to this site, so im not exactly sure how this works...

my boy, a plebe, said i MUST go to the x-mas ball with him. of course, he knows absolutely NOTHING about it... lol im headed out from california so im a little lost.

any suggestions on where i should stay? i wanted to be close to the school and minimize the number of taxi rides. (i'm a little bit scared, being a young girl and all) also, is this formal? i have absolutely no idea... and, any other girls flying out? i would love to get together with others to go to the dance together or whatever. somehow a weekend of sitting in my hotel room alone doesn't sound like too much fun. LOL

so any suggestions? thanks for your help. =)
