Where is the portal for aid? I was accepted, but did not see aid information in the big packet

Congratulations.

From the website:

“Financial aid decisions for those who have submitted complete applications by the established deadlines are usually released by the middle of April (or slightly earlier if we can get everything done more quickly).”

I was curious so I called after getting my acceptance. They said I should get it about a week after getting my acceptance, and if I don’t get it by this Friday to call again to make sure everything is in order.

So I actually just got my Financial Aid in the mail a bit earlier! I am beyond happy with the aid they offered me since they meet my need fully in grants and work study but I can still take out federal loans in addition to the grants! I was already leaning toward Haverford, but this is a major bonus and I’m most likely going to go there since the cost is just a tad bit more than if I would go to my state uni.

Does anyone know if Haverford keeps finaid fairly steady assuming income/assets stay steady) for all 4 years? Are there any surprises or large extra expenses along the way? My D’s finaid was not quite as good as a similiar school but she really wants to go here. After a private school experience where the starting finaid was good but increased over time and added huge extra expenses for activities, trips, etc became huge–I am concerned. Does anyone have any info?

I personally don’t know much about this topic; however, you may want to email/call the admissions and financial aid office. In my experience they give good and honest answers. Also they are really nice and helpful, so talking to them is a pleasure. I hope you are able to find this information!
