Just wondering when we hear back. Also, do we get a letter in the mail or is it online?

Notification will be by mail and not by email. The notification date is Monday, but I don’t know if that means that they put letters in the mail Friday to be received by Monday, or send out the mail on Monday.

Alright, thanks!!!

I live about a half hour drive from WPI and received my letter in the mail this afternoon (Thursday).

wow I’m jealous! CONGRATS!

Yeah, I live about 45/60 minutes away, and got it today. (:

I’m an international student. I got my admission today by EMAIL.

Good luck everyone.

In Ed Connor’s blog, he said that they were in the process of signing letters this week, and they hoped to have them in the mail by Weds 12/15. Since some results are popping up here, I guess they made it! [Ed’s WPI Admissions Blog](http://ecwpiadmissions.blogspot.com/) Good luck all!

Also, in case you guys are wondering, out of curiosity I decided to check my login ID thing (where it tells you what material they’ve recieved, etc.)

I got my acceptence letter in the mail, but virtually nothing’s changed there. So yeah, in case you guys were wondering, the desicion won’t be posted online. (At least it wasn’t for me.)

For the login for accepted EA students the same as the other login?

If you have been admitted, does it come in a big envelop? My daughter received a big envelop today, but won’t be home until 430pm, and I’m dying to find out if she got in or not!

Yes, acceptances are in a big envelope!!! She got in! Congratulations!

whew! thank you!

Received his letter today. Great! But no info on scholarships. We’re puzzled. Does that mean no, he didn’t get one, or is that info sent out later?

This is important, since WPI is his first choice, but it’s prbably unaffordable for us without it.

buzz - I didn’t get any info about aid/scholarships either. Althought it’s possible I just didn’t get one either haha.

Have you submitted your CSS Profile yet? You probably won’t have completely firm numbers until your tax forms are completed for 2010, but WPI bases their estimated aid on the Profile, and you can turn it in now. WPI sends out info about aid on a rolling basis for EA students. Look here for financial aid form deadlines and more about the CSS Profile.

I thought merit was for merit, and had nothing to do with tax forms?

Yes, merit is for merit. However, if your financial situation is such that you qualify for a large amount of need based aid, then a large merit package would not be needed. So there is somewhat of a tie in there.

My daughter is not applying for FAFSA. I called a number of schools and some require the CSS profile for merit aid. WPI is not one of them. However, I will fill out the CSS profile for Northeastern, Stevens Tech, and Fordham. So far she has 4 acceptances and no merit awards. WPI and Case are probably my first 2 choices for her.
