so did we. also through the school. also had it shipped there.
Kiddo’s school uses a third party online academic book store. It has a list of all of the school courses, you check your kid’s courses, and it pops up a list of all of your kid’s books. You select which ones you want, some can be bought used or in digital form. You pay a lot of money. They then ship the books. We have them shipped to the school. The website also has a buy back program they coordinate with the school. It is just like my college bookstore was back in the day. Just online.
I would think the school would give clear instructions on how to get textbooks.
Kiddo has only had a math book one year and science books two years. Over the years, the cost of books has gone way down.
Thank you very much for your advice. It is very important for me.
This sounds like my kiddos school. There was no requirement to use their recommended source, but it was very simple since the required books were listed by the school and grade. I do know some families shopped around on Amazon and other sources.
I also bought additional books.
The school generally sends their textbook vendor in the email telling you it is time to buy books. You will be able to get the ISBN number of all the books so you can shop around if you prefer.
