Where do you buy your clothes?

urban outfitters <3 but everything there is expensive

Japanese boutiques (I’m so fobby lol)

I haaaate Forever 21. Their stores are all so enormous that I get overwhelmed within seconds of walking in. It’s totally psychological, yes, but I can’t stand being in there. And I love to shop. (I will concede that a lot of their stuff is pretty cute… you just have to dig around to find it.)

I’m a thrift store girl all the way - it’s how my mom raised me. She actually used to take me and my sisters to go back-to-school shopping at Goodwill! To this day, I just can’t resist a pair of $3 boots (which I scored last week. love it).

I have always been a preppy dresser, but I’m pretty thrifty for sales, coupons and the like. I don’t buy new clothes often because I tend to keep them and reuse them for quite a while and I’ve pretty much stayed the same size the last 4 years. So I probably shop like 2x a year haha.

Stores:
Vinyard Vines
Polo Ralph Lauren
J. Crew
Brooks Brothers
LL Bean
American Eagle, Hollister etc. for Casual Stuff

F21 is okay. There’s a lot of junk mixed in with good stuff. I got this fantastic lace cardigan a few years back and I still wear it now.

OTOH, their jewelry and jeans don’t last long.

I admire you thrifty people. Shopping for good stuff at low prices is so, so hard, especially if you’re an “average” size for Express type stores (S/M). I have a friend that’s XS and she gets the best deals.

So yeah, I just tend to shop once every two or three months, buy some things I like and then not come back for another few months. It’s just a few things every time, with the exception of before school shopping.

Does anyone else have their jeans fade really quickly? I wear a few pairs of dark/black/khaki-black type pants so often that the color fades at the seams and the jeans get permanently wrinkled…

^I totally hear you on the sale stuff. I’m also S/Mish and can only ever find XS and XL on sale racks at retail stores. I miss being in middle school when I was small enough to snatch that stuff up, lol. Thrifting is similarly difficult but usually more rewarding.

For some reason, I deem anything above $10 for a shirt or shorts too expensive. I don’t go to the mall often, but when I do…I end up with nothing lol. I usually end up buying my clothes at Ross or Marshalls.

Another guy here! haha

I would say Abercrombie, Hollister, Uniqlo, Guess, CK, Nike(Sneakers!) AX, Lacoste, Zara (t-****s), Puma, Polo, Hugo Boss.

And else, but this is what rules in my closet

Lol I’m happy to say I’m one of those lucky people who can squeeze into an XS. I usually wear S, but XS still fits pretty well, and the cheaper price is worth it XD

It says a lot about someone to see where they buy their clothes and what they wear.

I’m a guy. I shop at Scheels and JCPenney. Mostly scheels :D

Unfettered sounds like me, except in the end I don’t buy clothes from anywhere.

:)

Forever 21, J. Crew, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Gap.

Urban Outfitters & Forever 21. Sometimes Nordstrom when I’m really, really high;;.

brooks brothers, zara, gap, hollister, abercrombie, onda del mar (bathing suits), nike and adidas(sport stuff), ralph lauren, bcbg, dolce gabbana, ferragamo, givenchy, longchamp, burberry, anthropologie, french connection, etc…

Ralph Lauren, Ann Taylor, White House Black Market, Brooks Brothers. You can never go wrong with Lilly Pulitzer!
As for shoes, Nine West, Sperry Topsiders, Jack Rogers, Tory Burch.
I like Forever 21 too. But I can only shop online, the stores are too crowded.

I buy clothes from literally everywhere lol, i just love shopping o;
