Where do you decline admission?

I can only find the link to accept admission, which is here: https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmCertification/Commit.aspx. there's no option to decline.

ahhh it's almost May 1st!

You don’t have to decline admission, but there is a withdrawal card in your Welcome to USC booklet.

oh so am I supposed to send it in? or do I not have to. I’m not sure where my welcome booklet is actually…

Lisa,
It is courteous to let a university know you will not be enrolling. If you cannot find your card do send an e-mail immediately to the SC admissions office. There are many, many spring admits waiting for that precious spot.
It is also good manners to thank the university for your offer of admission, particularly if you were offered financial aid, received an interview or a special tour.
There is a thread on CC now discussing how to decline an offer of admission.

Got it, thanks!

That’s interesting. The whole USC admissions process is so different from that of other schools. Why don’t they have a decline button?

Then again, I guess it’s obvious when they don’t get an acceptance.

A decline button would be so infrequently used I guess they forgot to put one in.

Eh, for a few of my other schools, there wasn’t a decline button, either, so I ended up just emailing admissions. USC isn’t the only one without the online decline link.
