Where do you get the ID to check decisions online?

I can't find mine if they ever sent it....

its sent alng with application receipt letter

They sent mine through the mail. It should have come with a CD about Carnegie Mellon.

its ur ID its seven digits long

if u never received anything.. then tht doesnt look too good. either your app is never complete, or your address is wrong, in which case you wont be getting your decision letter : O

even if it wasnt complete they still send you receipt and missing doc letters

call them asap. i realized they never receieved my essays just this past week, which i had sent in january...

Call and they will send a postcard with your ID. Will not give out over the phone. We had all kind of problems with school misplacing documents.

"Where am I" was the best place to reconcile what was sent with what CMU acknowleged that they received.

The CD was weird. Make better CD's CMU. I'd have rather seen a bit more of Pittsburgh onscreen than students teling us how great the school is. I mean no one would apply if they didn't know whether the college was good or not.

Actually, many people apply just because CMU is on the common app. I like to think CMU's website is the best out of any other top 25's. Every other college is pretty bland but our website is interactive and fun as well as informative. Their CD probably does suck but I am really proud of our website.

What are you talking about, acceptedalready?! Do you mean cmu.edu?! It's hideous! Look at the tacky colors, tacky layout, tacky font! The one thing is has going for it is that it's not too hard to navigate... I have to say, personally I'm a huge huge fan of MIT's website

http://my.cmu.edu/site/admission

If you think this is hard to navigate then you're making me feel very smart here :) I like Laura's "explore Pittsburgh" bus thingy. It's cleverly designed and is very informative. Oakland looks gorgeous in the pic when you go downtown on the "bus". Kate's snapshot picture thing of campus is also pretty neat but I wish they had more locations for you to take pictures of.

Ohhhhh, if that's what you mean, that's way way way better than their main page!

yeah their website is very good. but you can only find out about a place by actually going there. My parents want me to visit in may, but im not to keen on travelling by plane for 12 hours.
