Where do you guys buy the cheapest school supplies at?

I'm in constant need of post-its, notecards, binders, and other school supplies but they cost so much in stores like Office Depot. Is there a good online store with free shipping? Generally, where do you guys get the cheapest supplies at?

Hey, I'm kind of wondering this too. I usually look in the Sunday newspapers for the best deals, so it varies around for me. But, Office Depot is a rip off! I'm looking for some cheap mechanical pencils that I can replace (does anybody know if it's cheaper to replace mechanical pencils or to replace the lead)

Wal-Mart.

Don't end your sentences with prepositions. It's OK on CC, but never do that in a paper.

JBVirtuoso, I seriously want to punch you. Yuck.

Don't shop at Wal-Mart.

But I get mine at office depot, sorry. Right after school starts they have amazing sales.

Don't go to dollar stores though. THEY are a rip off.

try staples...and buy the generic staples stuff. usually, the generic stuff is as good as products with more of a brand name

CVS, WALMART, PUBLIX.

Those stores should be suffice.

Haha...last year my english teacher would freak out if we ended a sentence with a preposition (like in normal conversation). One time she didn't allow a student to talk for the rest of the class period because he did this twice in one day.

lol about the kid not being able to talk.

i go to target or staples.

i buy a ton of (like 100-150) mechanical pencils at the beginning of the year, when stuff is cheap.

office depot is good....only right b4 school though..

I'm usually a fan of the traditional office depot/max, staples, and target, and I scan the ads the weeks before school to see who has the best deals, sometimes involving going to multiple stores because their generic stuff is of great quality. Then I stock up on the economy-sized packages, not the regular. It saves you money in the long run.

But you can really find some gems at the dollar store, even name brand supplies. Try looking in the non-traditional office supply places like family dollar, dollar general, and dollar tree if you really want to save.

Yeah, and the thing is that the final "at" wasn't even necessary at any point in the sentence.

Costco. No questions asked. =P

Just buy everything in bulk and you won't have to waste gas or anything on buying new stuff.

...***? i havent bought school supplies since like 5th grade. i borrow from my friends.............yes some of us are lazy
