Where do you plan/ will live after college? Why?

Western Virginia. I love the scenery there. Perhaps Pennsylvania. Nowhere too far south though, even though I really love places like that for vacation. Not really a place I want to live all year round.

Seattle … my dream employer is Boeing if I go into Aerospace Engineering.

OR NYC … I’d like to work for Goldman Sachs if I go into Econ + Applied Math.

I’m very split right now.

I’d like to edit mine to Ireland. But more realistically, Florida or Arizona, some place hot. I’m sick of the freezing weather.

Staying in the east for a while, probably. Boston, where I am now, or NYC, maybe DC…

But I’m from Colorado and I miss the sunny west/southwest. And good mexican food. You’d think they’d have figured out how to make it over here, instead it’s just Epic Fail everywhere I try to eat. I’ve almost forgotten what spicy food tastes like. We’ll see if I end up back in the west.

The best mexican food I’ve ever had was in Colorado. And yes, I’ve been to CA/AZ/TX/Mexico

For me, good Mexican food is something from Chipotle

(Or that tells me that I need to go find some authentic Mexican cuisine)

That’s fast food. Not mexican food.

Im going to CU - Boulder most likely.

True that chipotle is fast food and not really authentic… doesn’t mean it’s not delicious. And it started in Denver, before McDonald’s bought it and planted one (several) in every major city in the US.

Anyway, thread hijack.

I guess they don’t have Taco Bell in Mexico?

Albuquerque, New Mexico

I think that I would love to settle down somewhere in New York. But before that, I’d love to go and do some sort of work abroad. =)

I didn’t realize how popular Colorado is. Now I’m proud to be here.

Btw, Qdoba is WAY better than Chipotle. Better food and tons more choices. And cheaper. Bam.

wowwwwwwww. im shocked everyone has all this stuff planned out! so after you graduate, you’re all just planning to move there and try to find a job? that’s crazy to me.

i am pretty sure i’m just going to move back home for a couple years while having a good job to get experience. then ill move to wherever my job takes me.

Don’t worry, maybe 5% of us will actually go where we’re planning to.

Being the one posting this, of course I will be in that 5%.

The nacho cheese sauce at Qdoba is interesting. The spiciness of the sauce totally tantalizes the taste buds. Both Qdoba and Chipotle are fast food … but they’re really good fast food restaurants, compared to McDonald’s. (I still have yet to find even a Mexican restaurant where I live … there’s like nothing ethnic!!!)

The Chicken Queso Burrito at Qdobes makes my life. But I guess Chipotle’s alright. Just not up to par.

And there’s this ridiculously awesome taquer

I’m planning on majoring in economics at UW Madison.

Afterwards, Chicago, IL at first and then hopefully DC down the road.

I intend to go to college in New England, New York, DC, or California and go to law school.

After law school, I want to live in New York City or LA.

Tahoe- California
