Sunlun: Yours really made me laugh-made my day. Sorry if by some miracle you were being serious.

I don’t know. I’d like to see myself as a california politician with a wife and two kids, with a 3rd (and final one) on the way- living either in Palm Springs (Like now), San Fran, or San Diego.

I see myself standing at 6’2, weighing 225lbs, at 10% body-fat cut like diamonds.
BS & MS in Mechanical Engineering. Probably settled down with a 10/10 babe I met at my Uni.

I see myself introducing the Tesla Model Z to a large crowd in a building somewhere in California.
The Tesla Model Z the Photovoltaic cell powered car.
I will be part of the group of engineers to produce such car.

I see myself as a slightly eccentric Physics professor + researcher at a reputed university, who is a part-time writer, and has also been on a world tour! (Okay, Okay, who’s been to Antarctica).

I would have a house with a HUGE library having loads of books and an awesome collection of the best rock music CDs in the world. And I would also have a wonderful kitchen where I would bake and scoff brownies without anyone commenting on my gargantuan sugar intake.

I would also have a big laboratory where I would spend a lot of time in my white lab suit! (Yay!!)

I would have met Stephen Hawking, J.K. Rowling and the bands Linkin Park, 3 Doors Down and Green Day.

I would have done something about my gravity-defying hair.

I would have a pet pug.

I would have given a guest lecture at MIT ( they rejected me… Waaaah!!..“sob” )

And I would have a fan page on Facebook (Okay, now that’s a bit too much…) :P

on da street

married, two intuitive and respectable kids (one a boy, one a girl), 2 cute dogs, a nice computer-related job, freelance graphic design or perhaps photography in my spare time, hugs and kisses from my intellectual hubby every morning =]

Goldman Sachs, making money off of working derivatives that steal from your grandmother’s pension.

i thought jesskidding was a boy. 2. i also desire intuitive kids.

I have a lot of hopes and apprehensive and non-apprehensive anxieties for the future. I can’t imagine where I will be - hopefully not in my mom’s apartment, though :P.

Probably doing some regular middle class job.

Where do I see myself? There are two versions to this.

1) in my dreams: NYC being a screenwriter for some epic show that has not yet been created. SNL would work too. Single, maybe married, idk. Not too concerned about having kids. Lots of friends and what not. Also frequent vacations to cool places.

2) WHAT WILL ACTUALLY HAPPEN. I’ll be a regular suburban scrub with a coupla kids. My mom’s been telling me I should be an ER doctor so that I can work shifts and possibly go part time to pursue screenwriting on the side. I will probably do this for two reasons: 1) it is actually quite sensible, and doctor is not a bad profession to fall back on (lol). 2) If I’m a horrible failure and hate my life, at least I won’t have to take personal responsibility and can instead blame my mother for “pressuring” me into a profession I’m somewhat apathetic about. But then again, I’m apathetic about pretty much all career options. I JUST WANT TO PERMANENTLY VACATION.

@alwaysleah your number one scenario is extremely similar to mine. Screenwriting is a tough business, but hey, maybe we’ll be both be working together on Untitled Epic Show in twenty years…

Following leah’s model:
