Where do you sit in class?

Generally, where do you sit in class? Are you a teacher's pet who sits at the very front, a few seats from the front, a social creature who sits in the middle, or are you too kool 4 skool and sit at the back?

Personally, I've been a back-row dweller, but this year I'm going to try sitting at the front for all my classes. I've gotta participate in class more. :P

Middle/Back unless the teacher assigns seats.

Then...

Right in the middle.

Front.... one closest to the door

Where ever they put me, in the front, or in the middle, but towards to front.

Front. 10 char

Away from other people, unless there's someone I know in the class, which doesn't happen often. I just try and sit in an area where no one's sitting and away from the kids I know will have lots of people flocking to them. It usually works pretty well. I almost always end up with a few empty seats around me.

As far back as possible.

Um. Usually I get to my first class of the year too late to sit in the back, so I'm more of a middle-right kinda person.

I get assigned seats most of the time, but after the first month or so the teachers don't give a crap and we switch seats... I mean, they'll check their seating chart for a while until they learn names, and after that I can switch to a better seat closer to the door or something.
I like sitting behind at least 2 people, but nearer the front because of my poor eyesight, and close to the door.

There are usually assigned seats in my classes, but for those that do not have assigned seats, I sit somewhere in the middle or in the back (mostly the back). This is not good, and this year I am going to make special effort to sit in the front (or at least second) row. I really need to participate in class more...

QFmetoo.

10char.

Middle to front. Only bad thing about the front is you have to turn around to talk to anyone.

Right in the middle, that way I get the best of both worlds. The only time I sat in the front was when my teacher for global history made a request that i sit next to her. It paid off sitting next to her ( excellent grade on the report card)

At the beginning of the year, they assign us seats to better remember our names, so I'm always in the back

But when I have the choice, I'll try to be either in the middle, by the windows, or in the back. I participate a lot more when I'm in the back actually... that's quite weird. The only time I was in front this year was in Biology class and I didn't want to be there and he overheard me talking about it and he put me completely in the back :)

My favorite choice of seating is in the middle row, second seat from the back. That way, I'm not totally alienated, and I can talk to a good portion of students in the class. It also has the most privacy, because other people's heads block the teacher's view. But, of course, that's a popular one, so it's hardly ever available.

In the front, toward one side of the classroom (typically whichever is closest to the window).

My eyesight sucks, so I try not to sit too far back or I can't see, but sitting right up front and center puts me under unwanted pressure to participate all the time. The side is nice.

As close to the front AND as close to the teacher as possible :D i HATE sitting in the back. i cant concentrate, idk why. the middle is fine but my favorite spots are either 0-1 seats from the front, close to the teacher (yes i'm a teacher's pet like that :p) oh and i HATE not sitting next to a lot of people. i MUST be surrounded by others or i feel awkward and uncomfortable.

Front-ish, but way off to the side.

Far back, usually in the corner. I like to sit there if I have a choice. But the teachers usually get mad at the person who wants to go far back; they would make me come up front/ middle section at the end.
