Well, all of my life I've done my homework and studied on my bed and sometimes the floor. The bed thing doesn't work out too well sometimes, for obvious reasons... so, I need new places to study which keep me awake. Post away =D!

Primarily in the library.
But when my roommate goes to home,I'll stay in the dorm all day long.

My roommate is not a bad guy who never makes lots of noise when I need a break. But he is a young man who needs to watch TV,have sex with girlfriend, talking on the phone for hours, etc. By going to library,I can leave him enough time to do his own things.

When I lived in a dorm it was almost always in the library. Now that I've got an apartment (and I primarily use a desktop computer) I study in my apartment.

Library, study lounge and sometimes my apartment. Totally depends on what I am working on. For the most part I try to keep studying to a couple of specific areas and away from home.

Library is the best place. You really have no other options or other thoughts but to study.

Sometimes I feel like studying in my room and if no one is around and making noise, that's what I do. Like right now. I can be more comfortable in my room some days.

If I'm only doing light work (not needing a lot of concentration) and my roommates are playing music and stuff, I'd probably stay. If my work is really difficult, I'd most likely go to the library. We decided that the room is mostly for socializing and the library is the place for studying, so that's why I abandon the room if I can't handle the noise.

well since its only the summer and there are only like 14 people in our house, i usually study in our common room. i dont need to study that hard because its pretty much review so having some noise is fine to me. but when i really need to study, i just go up to my room because people are usually downstairs or theyre out of the house so its not really loud and my roommate's really chill

I always study in the library or a study room (99% of the tim its the library) or else I get nothing done. I try to shut off my cell during that time too (I study 3-5 hours a day typically)

my bed, my desk, the library, empty classrooms, outside (when it's warm...), or random coffee shops.

I usually study in my room, at the library, or at work (I have an on-campus job, so it's very easy to do homework).

Anywhere that lacks distraction.

I'd either use my dorm room, or, later on, the private computer cluster that my department had. I really liked it since your profile on the computer was persistent, so you could actually save stuff on there. It was also set up with each computer in a cubicle so you had plenty of desk/shelf space while working, and there were no worries of someone standing there over your shoulder like in traditional computer labs.

Outside when it's warm. It's great to breathe fresh air while reading a book. Otherwise, library. Since everyone's busy doing something in the library, I also feel like finishing up any readings or assignments. I need absolute silence when studying, so the library is great.

I usually look for someplace outdoors and out of the way when the weather is good enough. Otherwise, my desk or the campus student center.

I've done the majority of my studying either in my room on my bed or gone to the lounge on our floor. I've never gone to the library to study.

My program has a Resource Room with all kinds of textbooks and journals in it. I'm going to try to start going there to study--I don't think it gets used much and it would be quiet. Also, it would obviously give me plenty of resources to study and research from.

anywhere where you can eliminate distractions...and can take a nap
