where do you usually sit in classes? front-mid-back? right-side of the class? center, left?

I feel middle, and right side is just right. middle is good to doze off when I want to, and still be able to hear loud enough. right side is good because of the way most right-handed teachers write...

i don't have a preference either way. usually i just sit wherever my friends are, which is mostly in the back, but sometimes in the front depending on different people's idiosyncrasies. ;)
my classes are small, though. my french class has 8 people, and i think the biggest is 14.

french is in a semi circle and I sit at the top so I can see the board.
English and history are round tables... so kinda hard to describe wher I sit
math and science I sit in the back of two rows...
in the end I basically I sit where I can see everything the best without having to twist every which way when we switch activities.

Front for lecture-style classes
Middle, at either extreme side, for discussion-oriented classes
Far corner with back to wall or trustworthy student during exams

I usually like to sit in the front as well (it's easier to take notes and such)
Currently, I"m in the left-front area in all of my core classes.

middle-front i think. but it sometimes changes and i'm forced to sit in the back because either my teacher said so or because there just aren't enough seats.

I find an interesting trend in seating pattern at my chem class in my school.

Very Front (first two rows) - studious A students.
Front (3rd - 4th rows) - B students.
Mid-Back (5th - 6th rows) - B-, C students.
Back (7th rows+) - C students, A students who want to sleep during class time.

I sit in various places...front if I actually plan on staying up the entire class period...back if I plan on sleeping or doing work for other classes:)...

chemistry - last seat on last row of room
english - first seat on first row of room
astronomy - first seat on middle row of room
us history - first seat in front of room
art - table in front of room which is really like back of room because the teacher doesn't teach from the front of the room mostly
entrepreneurship - last seat on first row (closest to door)
library aide - behind check-out desk

in 4/6 classes, the teachers seat us alphabetically so Im kinda in the middle of the class. In my other 2 classes, we choose where we can sit and so me and my friends usually take the back row.
urghh last year, i had to sit in the middle of the front row in all my classes (all my teachers wanted an alphabetical order) and it was horrible. it's like, i HAD to concentrate and look focused.

whenever we do alphabetical im always in the front dead center, its horrible...
i think middle right is the best if you like the class, center back is the best if you dont

Here are mine:
Painting 2 - at a big, high table
AP English - middle row in the center
AP Calculus- back row in the center
Tech 2 - station seating changes every 4 weeks
AP Government - on a special row of desk on the side, reserved for AP students
Chemistry - far right side in the center (about 5 feet from the teacher's desk)
