Top Choice/Reach

Match Schools
I really don’t know any match schools since I’m a freshman…maybe NYU, UNC Chapel Hill, UCs if my grades are good?

Safety Schools
Again, I’m a freshman so I don’t know yet, but I’m thinking

Top Choice:

Second Choices:
UChicago
Vanderbilt
Carnegie Mellon
NYU

More likely to actually go to:

Those are just my few options. I’m really trying for Northeastern and Georgetown. We’ll see next year or senior year if I can actually get in.

Class of 2014, so this will be coming up pretty soon!

Reach Schools

Favorites (and more likely)

Class of 2014!

Yale

Dartmouth

Tufts

Vanderbilt

Duke

More likely though I’ll get into UT Austin, Boston University and Northeastern.

@halcyonheather, I’ve been around long enough to know you’re way too self-deprecating. I’d be shocked if you didn’t get into UMich.

Current senior

Reach:
Princeton SCEA
Harvard
Dartmouth
Vanderbilt
University of Notre Dame

Match:
Michigan

Safety:
Ohio State

Possibly applying to UIUC, Stanford, and Duke, but after the 8 schools listed above my parents are making me pay for my college applications. Stanford’s is $90 for Christ’s sake.

Dreamschool: Michigan!

Current senior

Dream school: Princeton

Other awesome reaches: Swarthmore, Amherst, Williams, Brown, Dartmouth

Realistic schools that are still awesome: UVA, William & Mary, Boston College

Class of 2014

1: The University of Miami (possible ED) - Business School as Business Econ major

2: Georgetown University (Dream school, dad is a Vice President there, but my GPA and scores aren’t up to par) - School of Foreign Service as an International Econ major

3: University of Maryland - College of Social Sciences as Econ major

I want to go to medical school and want to get as close as I can to business without actually majoring in business, since they look down on it for some reason… I do like Econ but I think I like business more. If I change my mind and decide to go to dental school, I may switch over to Business Management with a double major/minor in Entrepreneurship if I can still get the pre-reqs in and graduate on time. Dental Schools actually encourage business.

Back to my childhood, that’s where.

reach reach(basically no one in my school gets in except maybe 1 in the last 5 years):

These are my priorities.
