Where do you want to live?

We have a "Which State would you hate to live in" thread so I figured that we should have a more positive version on that same idea.

Personally, I'd like to live in NYC. I'd love to get a SoHo loft but they are just outrageously expensive...

In the US, I would love to live in NYC too!
I just love big cities… ^_^

Living in Corsica or between Ravenna and Florence would be amazing

Somewhere warm and coastal like Hawaii or Guam.

^ Hawaii is nice and warm. Guam is CRAZY HOT, unless you like triple digit heat on a regular basis.

^ sounds like texas :stuck_out_tongue:
The high (for the past month or so) has been like 105… or more.
It’s also been kinda humid T_T

The DC area is supposed to be nice, but it’s very expensive there too.

My preference will definitely depend on my income.

Another thread I saw on a different forum had a thread, given $3000/month income regardless of where you live, where would you like to live. It seemed that Thailand and the Philippines were the best options from that thread.

I hate NYC.

It’s a bit hot during the summer, but some of the NoVA suburbs are nice. I could see living in Reston.

I love the Mountain West, so Denver would be okay too. Some areas of the Midwest would also work: Minneapolis, Omaha, etc.

Alberta is marvelous - both Calgary and Edmonton would be great.

A high-travel lifestyle might also be alright.

Siberia that’s my dream place. but my parents won’t let me. :(

I would love to live in Venice. The city on water.

I would love to live somewhere in ireland or the uk. Maybe paris. actually, most of europe is cool… i could do spain or italy. budapest looks cool.

within the us? i’d absitively posolutely LOVE to go back and live in new orleans like i used to. texas [houston or dallas or austin] are cool. boston and nyc are cool too, though.

I would love to live in a foreign country for a while. Probably somewhere in Europe.

As for the US, anywhere that’s not hot all year round would be ok with me. Also, no overly conservative places or places with a ton of racist/homophobic/plain ignorant people.

Europe or Japan

Amsterdam :)

Dublin.

irresistible accents (to my American-English ears)

never hot

EU

on an island

separate from mainland Europe, but still in Europe

near the Irish Sea

rich culture

^ Now I think I want to live in Dublin.

I don’t know, but I would like to be constantly moving, well not constantly, but every 5 years or so.

New York City. Only place in the country I could picture myself living in. As for Europe, there are a bunch of places all over but I don’t speak any of the languages (Except for some French) and I could never leave New York~

Wherever my job takes me.

Hong Kong
Taipei
Tokyo

… or Seattle. :D

Upstate New York, Boston suburbs, etc.
