Where do you want to live?

Japan…Definitely Japan

However if I stay in the US, then probably somewhere northwest or northeast.

Oregon, Maryland, Delaware for moderate climate and nice atmosphere.

I’m from WA state, and I’ve never really embraced the cold or rainy weather here. I’m always 5x happier when it’s sunny out. I’d like to think that I will live in a sunny state in the future, but not for college. Norcal or Socal are on my list… And who knows? I might fall in love with those places and just stay.

I am in Illinois right now and its eh. I loveeeee Utah! People are nice and the scenery is gorgeous. The economy is also doing much better there than where I am lol. San Antonio, Texas is nice too.

SoCal. Preferably San Diego, although Los Angeles is awesome too. It has the perfect combination of the laid-back California attitude, gorgeous weather, and the nightlife of a big city. There’s no place else I would call home.

Personally, I absolutely hate snow, and I would be happy never to see it again. It’s absolutely miserable here in Wisconsin, not being able to run outside or anything for 4-5 months.

^Agreed on the snow part. I dont mind it at first but in a few weeks Im gonna be sick of it.

I’m so sick of the east coast. So if we’re talking in the US, then I’d like to try Chicago and Seattle. I hear they’re awesome as hell.

But in the whole world (and I know this is so trite), I think London pretty much seems like the place to be. Or Toronto.

Sweden, of course.

I second that.
Well… East Asia in general.
In America, either New York or California.

Texas isn’t thaaat bad :stuck_out_tongue:
My parents moved here to escape the cold (they’re from the New England area).
I live near Dallas, so it’s pretty urban! No cowboys, ranches, or anything like that by the big cities. ^_^

Despite being a Korean I would not want to live in East Asia given the current circumstances.

If I could live anywhere, I would choose to live in a small rural town. Just me, a dog, a load of books, and a nice computer.

I like excitement and endless opportunities (eating opportunities that is) so I think a big city such as New York or Chicago would suit me. However, I’m also insanely paranoid and I’m sure a big city like New York would be the first place a terrorist would attempt to detonate a nuclear weapon or the first place aliens will strike, so I’m torn.

East Coast (New Jersey, Connecticut, Ma.)

West Coast (Santa Barbara rulz  )

Midwest (Wisconsin, Illinois, exx)

A university town with a population between 100-200 k would be perfect, especially, if there is a major city in a decent distance. Previously I thought that I want like to live in a big city, but recently I realized that I like towns with a smaller population. Especially university towns, but if somebody want so work in the academia, it just comes naturally
I have no intentions to remain in the UK or Europe…
Finding a tenure-track asst. professorship at a decent uni will be quite hard, and truly depends on luck as well…

I already live in the best place in the US.

I’d like Florida if it wasn’t for all the people there.

The East Coast, Seattle or Portland, EUROPE!

The Hamptons or south beach Miami.

Just give me a 2 million dollar house, trophy wife, a Bentley, and i’ll be set.

Southern California :D
