Just an alternative to US News.

These are the US rankings from Times of London:

why does cc like to screw with my links? :)

Spanks U rock!
trust u to get official rankins

Heh, thanks.

There are no "official rankings," which was really my point. Rankings change based on the source and the methodology used to derive them.

haha its funny how romantic's only pro-vanderbilt argument is its party school status but compares cornell with the other ivies only academically and by rank. no need to defend cornell here, this guy is a dumbass

Thanks Spanks, that was useful.

really strange though to see Ivy leagues much lower than things like University of Michigan or NYU when I think ivies can give you better education. o.O

No problem

best party schools are is in NY-St.Bonaventure(ranked may times), Cornell etc and mid-west and Florida,Vanderbilt never made the top in party schools in U.S. or even the list. frankly they haven't made a list in anything

"Thanks Spanks, that was useful.

Its like this...Cornell has 15 colleges (including pg's)...abt 7 of them are just for kicks and aren't THAT good...if u take the good 7-8 ones, Cornell will surely be among the top 5...if u take just Cornell College of Engineering and CAS and Hotel Managemnt, Cornell kicks HYP's ass

same with all other ivies (my due apologies to Dartmouth and Brown for this generalisation)

abike11, do u know COrnell also make i to the top 5 for Best Campus and Best food and that Cornell has its own Dairy farm

yes i do its a great university

Ahahaha...I just noticed that on the World Rankings Spanks gave, Vanderbilt is placed above Dartmouth at 114. Sad. :)

(not that I like Vanderbilt or anything but...poor Dartmouth)

hahaha!
This q is open to anyone: Which universities do u think deserve to be removed from the Ivy League
Me: Brown and Dartmouth

I don't think Cornell is in a position to hypothetically remove colleges from the ivy league, as I said before.

Arjun: Just so ya know, ILR is the top school of its kind... ANYWHERE. Cornell has more than Engineering and Hotel Management.
As I said before:
Cornell is the best in the WORLD at MANY things (i.e.: one of the top for engineering, aerospace, Industrial and Labor Relations, Hotel Admin., Veterinary Medicine...).

its not like we're really removin college spanks...its just good gossip+i'm really jobless

Hence, hypothetically.

spanks, you are too evill... :)

haha, thanks, I try...I didn't think I was being mean, though. I was just clarifying my post.
