Foothills for me, then Unit 1 or 2, then Clark Kerr. What about everyone else?

Clark Kerr, but I heard that is the hardest one to get because it is in such high demand.

Frankly, I wouldn't mind any dorm except for Bowles. All male dorm=not cool.

EDIT: my 100th post =)

Clark Kerr or Foothill. But really anything but Stern.
All female dorm=not cool

I would say the opposite. If you want Clark Kerr, you will probably get it.

I'm kinda debating between Unit 1/2 and Foothill - can anyone expand further than the "Units = social and Foothill = quiet" mentality?

Units are known to be more social because students tend to leave their doors open and thus, can get to know their floormates. Foothill is known to be more antisocial because... actually, I really don't know. There is a higher percentage of engineers there, but I don't know if that correlates with the quietness. Maybe people don't leave their doors open or don't bother to talk with their floormates?

Of course, you will find antisocial floors in the units and social floors in Foothill.

^^re: Clark Kerr -- easiest to get into, biggest dorms, furthest from Campus.

Foothill -- b/c it's suites, it's less social because suites are closed, but rooms within suites are open. Still word of mouth, parties for those who want, quiet for those who want to study. Best part about foothill, and I mean Hillside, not La Loma, is it's next to the Greek, so free audio; and also close to the Stadium, Bowles (who seranade Stern, lol), and also close to the HAAS BofA atm. DC sucks imo, except late night food.

Units -- Unit 1 to me is best b/c it's closest to campus, newer (I mean remodeled newer) but = to unit 3. I personally prefer the DC in unit 3, but that's me. Unit 3 older, more utilitarian. Unit 2 -- well, the only thing I don't really like about it is it's further south & further south = more crime and it's across the street from People's Park. Which may be a good or bad thing, depending on your outlook. Unit 2, however, tends to be closer where my friends live in apts. on the southside, so easier to get to.

I did Foothill this year and that's it for me. The good part about it is the dorms are awesome and big, and I didn't gain any weight and didn't have to go to the rec centre, b/c walking up the bloody hill 4 times a day was a good cardio. Next year, unit 1, double mini-suite and I'm totally chill with that.

Clark Kerr is the jocky country club...the disadvantage is it's quite far from campus.

Don't do Clark Kerr.
I recommend any Unit.
It is cheaper, closer, and a better environment.

Off campus :] or Unit 2
