i tried looking on the davis website, but i didnt see where orientation actually starts at, also im going to the night before so i know we will be staying in the cuarto area, but didnt say exactly where. if anyone could tell me that would be great ^_^

Orientation is held in the Tercero housing area. Assuming you are attending the freshmen orientation program, you will be checking in at the Tercero area service desk, and there will be an extremely helpful orientation front desk in the TAAC (you’ll learn to familiarize yourself with the millions of acronyms soon…haha) if you ever get lost.

You’ll have fun and hopefully meet a bunch of new people I’ll be assisting orientation as one of the tech support guys so feel free to say hi if you ever encounter one of us. Haha.

Thanks marz! Also, where can we park? Do we just have to purchase a parking permit each day?

The orientation staff should have permits for you, I believe :). I know for sure they have them for the transfer orientation program that is occurring now, so I assume that they are doing the same for freshmen as well!

^ Yeah, I just found it, thanks!

Yeah, I attended my transfer orientation yesterday and the leaders and staff were incredibly helpful and informative. Not long after meeting with my department advisor, I finally met with my orientation leader who sat with me when I was registering for classes on SISWEB and guided me through the entire process.

So have fun at orientation, meet new people, grab an omelete at Tercero’s dining area if you get there early (they kick ass) and welcome to the Aggie family!

@marz …Thanks for all the great work you guys have put in to help us new Aggies.
