Can anyone help me with this? Grandparent is custodian of UTMA account for student. I am assuming this account needs to be reported on FAFSA but can’t see where it would go. In the category “Student Financial Information: Untaxed Income” there is “money received or paid on your behalf” but that doesn’t seem right, since she has not received the money, there have been no distributions. Am I missing something?
A student UTMA is reported on line 42 as an investment (asset).
