<p>Yeah, my parents are obsessed about me getting into a good college, which really sucks. :( So many essays...:(</p>
<p>^ mine used to be like that, then they turned religious and started becoming laissez-faire, "whatever makes you happy" type. :D</p>
<p>Somone at my school was deferred from Stanford EA and eventually accepted to Princeton so it is possible.</p>
<p>It's weird, on the one hand, I want my parents to lay off for a while, to just not think about my chances of getting into a good college for one day, to just take it easy. But it's also reassuring to know that they truly care about my future and all that stuff, even though it means I have to listen to them urging me to study all the time.</p>
