For me its down to three, I was only accepted to five, and waitlisted at two~ Its down to in this order:

Indiana, Kelly school of business
Bentley College, business
Michigan

how about you? i am visiting all the above in the next few weeks to make a decision and want to do it already. this whole craziness has my stomach in knots, gw is my first choice, the only slight hook i have is my grandfather graduated from there and got his masters there and wrote a wonderful letter on my behalf but it will be a miracle if i get in. i will be doing backflips for a week if i get in! Just not getting my hopes up, but best of luck to you all.

i have three choices now and not sure what is really my top choice. it's either cornell, gwu, or vtech (already accepted). i really don't know right now. it's really stressing me. of course, i could be stressing over nothing cuz cornell and/or gwu might not even accept me come thursday but who knows.

Basically I have been accpeted to NYU and will probably be accepted to GW. My number one is University of Chicago, but even if I get in I don't know if I will go because the price tags at these schools are too much. So I might just end up at DePaul University in Chicago.

GW's my number two, but I got waitlisted at BC (#1), so I hope I get into GW, because I like it a lot better than my other option (U of Maryland; good school, I like it, I just like GW/BC a lot better)

Well I was considering Boston University and American...I was accepted to both but got almost no financial aid from either. I'm hoping GW can come through with more aid, or else I'll attend one of the VA state schools.

If I don't get into GW I'll probably end up at Tulane, unless my parents force me to go to DePauw or Indiana because of financial reasons. Tulane is around $50,000 per year while Indiana/DePauw would cost around $50,000 total for all four years because of the scholarships they offered me.

However, there are 4 other schools above GW on my list but I'm not exactly optimistic about getting in to any of them. I'm not even that optimistic about GW anymore; my GC said he'd be very surprised if I did not get in but he also said that about BU & I didn't get in there.

fantosme, I think Tulane is around 43-or 44 a year. Not like that's a tremendous help, but it is something. If you haven't already received a scholarship, don't give up hope, mine just came today.

It's currently at 41k I believe, but I heard somewhere that Tulane was going to bump up the price to around 50k to help offset the losses they sustained b/c of Katrina.

I've gotten into Rutgers, TCNJ, American, Virginia Tech and the University of Maryland. I'm still waiting for GW and Johns Hopkins. I'd say my choice is probably going to wind up being between GW and UMD and JHU (if i get in). I got into the Scholars program at Maryland (CP) so its definitely an option for me.

I'm really not sure, it's going to be a very difficult decision. I've been thinking about it a lotttt for months and all day especially because I just got rejected from Hopkins...lol. But I'm still waiting to hear from GW before I really go crazy deciding. Probably going to take one more trip down there.

My deciding factor I would say is probably going to be where I want to spend four years. Plus, as far as getting into GW goes, the programs there (ESIA) are a lot more specific and focused than the Government and Politics Limited Enrollment Program that I got into Maryland for. So, I'm not 100% either way yet. I've always leaned toward GW, I've always loved it, but I'm going to have to see.

Are you making a similar decision? If so, what factors are you considering?

well I just got into Wake Forest yesterday and then Ohio State's Honors College forever ago...but i'm very torn. I love GW because of where it is and basically everything about the campus...and if i get in i want to go there...but i want to go pre-med and GW has a much stonger focus on political science and whatnot...so i feel like Wake would be better because it has such a strong biological science program. If i even get in it will probably come down to the money.

well, if I don't get into GW (or can't afford to go to GW for that matter) then I would go to either American (if I get enough $$) or UCLA. But I really don't want to stay in CA and would much rather go to GW... in fact, I am dying to go to GW...

angell- GW may have a political tilt, but out medical and pre-med programs are very good. The GW Hospital is one of the most advanced hospitals in the county as it is the first responder for any emergency at the White House, it is even prepared to be a fall out shelter in case of Bioterrorism.
