Cornell and Tufts

Over break next week I need to get started on their essays.

cornell
boston college
emory
nyu
UT [back up if i dont get in anywhere else]

UVA and VA Tech -- in-state schools to save money because if I don't get into JHU, there's not much else I want to go to that's close enough or cheap enough.

My parents will only be willing to pay private school tuition if it's my first choice. I really hope we all get in!

looks like cornell is pretty big for jhu rejects. haha

Eh, whatever. Quick question. Is it possible to be rejected ED, or is everyone that isn't immediately accepted just deferred?

Notre Dame
University of Chicago
Georgetown
University of Rochester
Hendrix College (safety)
University of Arkansas (safety)

Those last two places I have guarenteed full rides so it's not a bad backup plan, although I'd rather get in somewhere better.

Mdkeung, it's definitely possible to be outright rejected by JHU. But as I hear, most ppl are deferred rather than rejected and those rejected are the applications that just wouldn't have stood a chance in the regular decision pool either.

ahhhh

..,,,,

That makes sense.
